Not your mother’s opera. Gerard Noir is a sexy spy opera for the sophisticated smut within us all. Follow super spy extraordinaire Gerard Noir, as he tries to save the world from a psychotic murder. Making its premier debut at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival, be prepared to laugh and reflect as the show combines the best of opera, penis jokes and hyper-masculinity (ba dum cha). Written and composed by classically trained vocalist Jared Schwartz, Gerard Noir is redefining modern opera and paving a way for opera enthusiasts and novices to connect through the art.
